Each year, school children around the world celebrate the life of Dr. King in January. There are resources available in print and online for children of all ages that cover different aspects of his life and his struggles in the civil rights movement.
A Google search produces a lot of information, so much, that the majority of ones research time can be spent evaluating source after source. The sources in this webliography have been evaluated for appropriateness and accuracy and are meant for students in Kindergarten through 6th grade. There are images, encyclopedia articles, other online articles, online videos, and books that will be helpful for teaching the legacy of this civil rights icon in the classroom or for use by students creating their own biographical projects about Dr. King.
